Nazare, Portugal is a tiny sea side town that cradles the Atlantic ocean. It’s been made popular by the Big Wave, but long before I knew that even existed, Nazare was my little utopia every summer growing up. My Avó was also named Nazare, she would take me there to go swimming and have ice creams. Inspired by long breezy beach days, sunburnt skin, and the endless vacation, Nazare was created for the girl and her idea of nostalgic utopia, wherever that may be.
